This song was originally written in 2013 by a four-piece high school band consisting of Jay Tiernan, Brady O'Keefe, Doug Buckley and Dave Czuba. The original title of the song was "Fruit Junior (I Guess So)". Doug had asked Jay the song name, to which Jay responded, "For Junior" (this was at the height of Breaking Bad). Doug, mishearing Jay, responds with, "I guess so", & thus, the new name stuck. Due to logistical and semantical reasons, the song was never properly recorded and released, and the band was forced separate ways following high school graduation.
However, during the making of this album, it was decided to be resurrected and given the production it never received. Some of the original audio, recorded in 2013, was able to be used in this mix (after a great deal of tedious restoration), including the saxophone played by Andrew Samson and harmony vocals by Sam Nazz. Shout out to my son, Big Hoss, for being so big.
