Originally attached to "Doug's Point", "Crawl's Pace"was strengthened by its newfound simplicity as its own song. The song is carefully wound together, transitioning smoothly between varying time signatures and dynamic changes. What began as an instrumental outline took a new shape and texture with the addition of the harmonizing vocals, giving the track a sense of originality that solidified it as a singular song.
